Our History
Tyndallwoods is a multi-service law firm based in the heart of Birmingham with offices in the city centre and in Edgbaston. A progressive and innovative firm, we have been practising in Birmingham since 1792. Our offices are linked by internal telephone communications and the latest computer networks, giving rapid access to information and expertise across the firm.
Tyndallwoods originated with Thomas Web in 1792 - the first Tyndall joined in 1805. A merger in the 1960's produced a firm called Tyndall, Mirams, R.M. Wood & Sons. In 1971 the firm changed its name to become Tyndallwoods. We celebrated our 200th anniversary in 1992.
We aim to offer an efficient service through the use of cutting edge technology and highly organised fee earner and support teams.
